Description

  • Led by Andrew MacQueen, Tilhill
  • Cost: £35 per person (includes both parts).
  • 2 hour zoom meeting to cover ‘classroom’ work on Thursday 10th June, followed by site visit from 10am-3pm on Friday 11th June
  • Topics will include: soil types, cultivation, species choice and using the Ecological Site Classification tool.
  • There will be a significant amount of walking across rougher ground and cultivated soils, as well as crossing stock fences.
  • No facilities nearby so bring lunch, water, warm clothing etc.
  • RV point is South of Tweedsmuir at the forest entry point off the A701 at NT 05459 20284
